Current Electricity Class 12 Notes

CBSE Class 12 Physics Notes Chapter 3 Current Electricity

Current is referred to the passing of charge through an area per unit time. For the maintenance of a steady flow of current, it is to be ensured that the circuit is closed and the electric charge is influenced by an external source which moves them from a lower to higher potential energy. The work done to per unit charge to move the charge is known as electromotive force or emf. Please refer Current Electricity Class 12 Notes for more revision notes.

Electrostatic Potential And Capacitance Class 12 Notes

CBSE Class 12 Physics Notes Chapter 2 – Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance

What is Electrostatic?
The electrostatic potential is referred to the force which is external but conservative. It is the work done by an external force in bringing a charge s from a point r to a point p. It is the difference in the potential energy of charge s between initial and final points.

Potential:
Potential of a point is referred to the work done per unit charge in bringing a charge from infinity to a certain point. Please refer Electrostatic Potential And Capacitance Class 12 Notes for more revision notes.

Electric Charges And Fields Class 12 Notes

CBSE Class 12 Physics Notes Chapter 1 Electric Charges and Fields

The properties of atoms, matter, and molecules are determined by the magnetic and electric forces present in them. When an experiment was conducted on electric charges due to frictional electricity, it was found out that conductors assist in the movement of electric charge through them and insulators do not behave in the same manner.

What are the properties of Electric charge?
An electric charge has three fundamental properties:

  • Quantization- This property states that the total charge of a body represents the integral multiple of a basic quantum of charge.
  • Additive- This property of electric charges represents the total charge of a body as the algebraic sum all the singular charges acting on the system.
  • Conservation- This property states that total charge of a system remains unaffected with time. In other words, when objects get charged due to friction, a transfer of charge from the one object to another occurs. Charges can neither be created nor destroyed.

Class 12 Physics Notes

CBSE Class 12 Physics Notes: Chapter wise

Physics is one of the most crucial subjects for a student who wishes to pursue a career in engineering and other related fields. Most of the concepts in Class 12 Physics Notes are important as several higher level concepts are derived from the concepts that are introduced in class 12.

So, having a thorough understanding of all the concepts is crucial to not only get good marks in the exam but also get introduced to wide a spectrum of knowledge. So, to help the students to learn physics more effectively, physics notes for class 12 of various topics are given here.

Probability Class 12 Notes

Probability Class 12 Notes – Chapter 13

Conditional probability, multiplication theorem on probability, independent events, total probability, Bayes’ theorem, Random variable and its probability distribution, mean and variance of random variable. Repeated independent (Bernoulli) trials and Binomial distribution. Please refer Probability Class 12 Notes for more revision notes.

Linear Programming Class 12 Notes

Linear Programming Class 12 Notes – Chapter 12

In here, the variables are non-negative and satisfy a set of linear inequalities (called linear constraints) and the problems have the goal to find the optimal value (maximum or minimum) of a linear function of several variables (called objective function) with respect to the conditions. Variables are sometimes called decision variables and are non-negative in nature. Please refer Linear Programming Class 12 Notes for more revision notes.

Three Dimensional Geometry Class 12 Notes

Three Dimensional Geometry Class 12 Notes – Chapter 11

Direction cosines and direction ratios of a line joining two points. Cartesian equation and vector equation of a line, coplanar and skew lines, shortest distance between two lines. Cartesian & vector equation of a plane. Please refer Three Dimensional Geometry Class 12 Notes for more revision notes.

Vector Algebra Class 12 Notes

Vector Algebra Class 12 Notes – Chapter 10

Vectors and scalars, magnitude and direction of a vector. Direction cosines and direction ratios of a vector. Types of vectors (equal, unit, zero, parallel and collinear vectors), position vector of a point, negative of a vector, components of a vector, addition of vectors, multiplication of a vector by a scalar, position vector of a point dividing a line segment in a given ratio. Definition, Geometrical Interpretation, properties and application of scalar (dot) product of vectors, vector (cross) product of vectors, scalar triple product of vectors. Please refer Vector Algebra Class 12 Notes for more revision notes.

Differential Equations Class 12 Notes

Differential Equation Class 12 Notes – Chapter 9

What are Differential Equations?
The equation which involves the derivative of the variable which is dependent with respect to the independent variable is known as differential equations. The order here is given to the highest order of the occurring derivative. The degree is given to the presence of the polynomial equation in the derivatives.
