What is Number System?

What is Environment?

Sources of Energy Class 10 Notes :
There are two main sources of energy and it includes:
Renewable Energy : The energy which can be renewed or replaced over and over again is termed as the Renewable energy. This energy can never be depleted. Renewable energy is derived from natural processes such as sun, wind, water, biofuels, etc.
Non Renewable energy:The energy which cannot be renewed or replaced is termed as the Non-renewable energy or alternative energy. This energy is derived from fossil fuels including Coal, Oil and other gases.
There are different sources of energy, which are widely used to produce electricity. The produced electricity is used by the entire world’s population in their day to day activities.
A magnet is a material that produces a magnetic field. It is a substance which strongly attracts to special metals such as iron, cobalt, nickel and other iron-containing metals.

What is Electricity?
Electricity Class 10 Notes can be simply defined as the physical flow of electrons or a stream of electrons moving in a conductor to efficiently deliver the energy found in primary sources to end users. Electricity can be created in three ways:
The human eye, it is the most valuable and sensitive sense organ which help us to see the beauty and the colorful world around us. It is similar to a camera. What is Light?
Light can be simply defined as the form of energy which helps us to see objects in dark. There are both natural and artificial sources of light. Sunlight is the best example for the natural sources of light. Reflection and refraction of light are the two main properties of light.
What is Reflection of light?
The natural phenomenon of bouncing back the light in the same medium on striking the surface of an object is termed as the Reflection of light. According to the laws of Reflection:
The angle of reflection is always equal to the angle of incidence.All the three rays- incident, reflected ray and the normal lie in the same plane.
What is Refraction of light ?
The natural phenomenon of changing the path of light while moving from one medium to another is termed as the Refraction of light.
As the light travels from its rarer to a denser medium, light rays bend towards normal and while traveling from the denser to a rarer medium, light rays bend away from normal. According to the law of Refraction:

What is Heredity?
Heredity is defined as the sum of all biological processes through which particular genetic characteristics are transmitted from the parents to their offspring. This process is observed in all sexual reproduction and happens during meiosis and fertilization. In this process, an offspring get their genetic information from both the parents- mother and father.
